Heart of Literacy
The Heart of Literacy program is an impactful way to engage families in developing literacy routines and provide tools to teach foundational reading skills. We Love Lit! believes families have the capacity to support their children’s learning.
We Love Lit!’s first priority is to partner with childcare centers that are located in book deserts. A book desert is a “geographic area with limited access to age-appropriate books, print materials, and reading culture.” We Love Lit! provides families with practical tips in key areas of early literacy. Families also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing support with the We Love Lit!’s team.
